2020 was a strange year for everybody, that is for sure. With very little Jiu Jitsu, I don’t think that I have rolled this little since I started with BJJ, not even when I has injured.

We didn’t get to give out any new belts for the whole of 2020. I’m told that I’m pretty strict with giving out new belts, but the is unusual, even for me. In a normal year we give out one black belt or two, and a whole lot of other belts, I can’t remember how many years it has been, since we did not give out a least one black belt in a year.

We did not host a single competition in 2020, I have 300 something medals with 2020 printet on them for the Danish Open BJJ, just got them in time for the first lock down. Perfect timing. Had to cancel 4-5 competitions in 2020.

I hope that we can get back to this in 2021

It is the first time we had to cancel our summer camp in 11 years. Summer camp is always something at I look forward to. It’s a great way to end the summer and start a new season!

Summer Camp 2021 will be bigger and better then ever before

With 2020 almost out of the way, we are planing to start 2021 with a big upgraded of our gym ArteSuave.dk. We’re going to move from around 600 m2 to 1000 m2, and from april we will have a fully functional gym as well, so in total we will have a 1600 m2 big playground for all ages.

I can’t wait to see what 2021 brings!
